I'm doing like a sausage plait thing but with a mix of pork mince and stuffing - had the middle like sausage patties on Tuesday and it was yum. Think I might o his with 2/3 salads (plus maybe one warm one) as we are off out for poicnic lunch in the park (well wrapped up and weather permitting) with some friends tomorrow so will be good to have some salady things to take too.

Re: dinner plans for tonight?
celeriac soup and crusty bread for us tonight. I'm making it and the pressure is on as it is normally D's job. He makes delicious soups, whereas anything I cook tends to be ok, not fab.
I've followed Hugh FW to the letter so fingers crossed

Oh I'm the same dolly - I love liver but OH hates all offal so every so often DD and I have "posh lunch" and I'll do liver and bacon and mustard mash instead of sandwiches, eggy bread or something on toast which is our usual.
Tonight is bath night so DD will eat at normal tea time and OH and I will eat later. She's getting pasta bake (leftovers) and we're having pork, green pepper and black bean stirfry and some chinese starters. I will also be making a chicken cacciatore for tomorrow night's tea so I can get a good lot of revision done while OH is off!

We're having bubble and squeak (only with leeks rather than cabbage - yes I am resisting the temptation to call it "bubble and leek") with some creamy pepper sauce. Then a mini muffin, half a graze box and some bene & hot while we watch the opera.

I love the smell of liver and onions.
The bubble and squeak was really nice last night, we're going to try it again with some roast leek and cauliflower in for extra flavour. Tonight Dan is making pizza *yay*.

It's changed about 3 times so far. Finally it is pork loin steaks with hmade apple sauce with vegetable rice ( I have about 8 peppers and a sad looking courgette to use up) Quite limited options as we are in holiday flat so only have tiny fridge and what I brought with us.

We're having curry tonight and as Dan is going to be home soon I think I'm going to do bulgur rather than rice as it's quicker.

Re: dinner plans for tonight?
Made a 'sort of chilli'. Mince and spices with sorry looking veg. DH will have this with naan bread. I'm having tuna salad to use up lettuce etc, and mixed beans in vinaigrette which I picked up by accident.
Fridge is almost empty of depressed veg
ETA: 'sort of chilli' went down very well with another 4 portions for Thursday/freezer. I am NEVER buying the beans in vinaigrette again. They were almost sweet.

tonight we are having a chicken hotpot thing lol. had few potatoes, carrots and will add broccoli to the plate. also having petit pains with it too. my kids are getting vert good at eating what i put down to them. ds2 (2) has always been a good eater but ds1 (4) has always been picky. neither as great meat lovers so i load their plates with veg.

We're having stirfry with rice and tofu tonight. Last night we had orzotto, Sunday Dan made tomatoey pasta with chilli and basil. Seems like we're wating basic stuff all the time at the minute but I'm enjoying not having to follow recipes and concentrate too much while I'm cooking so old favourites are fine with me for now.
