why does the washing never go away. There is only 2 of us and there is loads all the time. Must been even worse for larger families.

I did less laundry when we had less cash. Back then we had more of a capsule wardrobe with all of our clothes in only a few colours so it was easy to have a full load. Now we have different coloured clothes I find myself having to wait for a decent amount to fill the machine,or more likely I'll hand wash things so we can wear them again.

I got given a good housekeeping mag yesterday and was reading it this morning. They were discussing the pros and cons of powder, liquid, tablets. Nothing really conclusive i think its what you prefer.
