Re: Plans For The Weekend?
on sunday my mum is going to visit with my brothers, sister and dad and bringing me some birthday giftage, and collecting their cake.
tomorrow I think I shall possibly take sophie on the bus to sainsbury's if i can face it, I REALLY want some cream and they're the only supermarket in basildon who sell arla lactofree cream lol. trying to judge whether it's worth a 20min bus ride each way!!!

Re: Plans For The Weekend?
Well we all got wet today as OH and I took DD swimming. Had a lovely time, we're trying to get her to the point where she is happy to go in the water with just Daddy so I can have a bit of a break while they go swimming. Got a bit further today as she was quite happy for me to disappear off and shower and get dressed before coming back and collecting her from the pool. Got a computery friend coming to look at our desktop tomorrow as OH thinks the graphics card is gone (on the lappy now ) We have bribed him to come and look with cake so I have made banana fudge muffins and a coffee cake ready! Sundays are also officially "Be nice to Mummy" day! and OH does the bulk of the washing up, cooking, smelly nappies etc while I get to read the paper and be cuddled! It's a good day, I can recommend it!

Re: Plans For The Weekend?
WellI never did make it to sainsbury's, couldn't face the bus or the crowds.
mum, dad, my two btohers and my sister came over today to wish me a happy birthday and give me my gifts. As well as the Kenwood mixer I knew mum had spent m birthday and xmas budget (and then some) on (WHICH I ADORE!), she's also bought me an edwardian book of crochet patterns! it's beautiful!
she was going to bring me a cake, but she's not had time this week with work so she brought me this...
that's a packet of after eights (my favorite chocolate) with a candle in it. and here is my mummy playing The After Eight Game.
if you've never played, you should. you place an after eight flat on your forehead and try to get it to your mouth without touching it with your hands.

It's the Arts and Crafts Charity Craft sale and I'm still very busy finishing off little bits and bobs for it like the christmas scent stuffed heart decorations and making chutney's.

What's everyone doing this weekend?
Anyone going out for "Black Friday" drinks? Dan finishes work for 10 days or so today *yay*. Don't think we're doing anything tonight, he generally just wants to crash out and decompress. Weather permitting tomorrow we're going to a local wetlands place as they're having a Christmas fayre and there are going to be some reindeer there. I love reindeer so that's the only reason I really want to go!
Not sure what's going on the rest of the weekend. Avoiding the shops for certain. Might have a walk on the beach if the weather's not too bad.

Re: Plans For The Weekend?
No shopping to do this weekend, so I am staying away from the shops too.
I might just hibernate with DD and DH as we all have colds anyway *sniff sniff, cough cough*
I will wrap all the family presents that have to go to my parents house next week, and my sister may pop in ours on sunday.
But no other plans.....yet!

tomorrow I think I'm heading for a walk into town with hubby and child to get hubby's brother a birthday pressie, and I'll also be doing some sewing because my machine has been idle for weeks.
