Polish food shops
I notice we have some polish shops and mini supermarkets around in one particular area of our town. I have not been in and wondered does anyone try any of their food and what is it like? What are the prices like etc? I can see i might have to go and have a butchers Ha.

Re: Polish food shops
we have a large one on our market, and also the world foods aisle in the big tesco has quite a section too. but again I must confess I've not tried anything. mainly because if I can't read the ingredients, I can't find out if it's got stuff in I'm allergic to!
I spend a lot of money and time in our local chinese supermarket shop if that helps! it's tiny and located 3 floors up in the doldrums of the shopping centre and mr and mrs kam are always happy to identify anything, give me cooking tips and translate packaging for me, but I don't know if that's just good customer service or because being part of the local karate community they know me? (I'm a karate widow lol).

Although we have a large number of poles here, we dont have a polish shop but our Tesco does a large range and they shop a lot in aldi. Pity as I would have liked to try some of their food.
