Thursday 29 September
Good morning
More decorating this morning then a dentist appointment at 12 to have a crown which came out put back in. This afternoon I'm hoping to get into the garden to keep on weeding & tidying should be nice as the weather's so good. Who would have thought it after the summer we've had! The washing, drying & ironing are up to date this week because of it so I'm not complaining.
Tea tonight is sausage pasta made with Aldi's bratwurst sausages, chopped onions, peppers, mushrooms, herbs, garlic & a couple of tins of tomatoes mixed with cooked pasta. It's a favourite here and filling for my hollow legged sons lol.
I ordered Sucking Eggs - What your Wartime Granny Could Tell You about Thrift & Being Green from the library on Monday and collected it yesterday - it's such an absorbing read and a little potted history of life in the home too. I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I also ordered Potatoes not Prozac having read about it on here so looking forward to reading that too. Thanks for the reccomendation
The Wm has just finished it's first load so I should get a wiggle on and peg it out. Hope that everyone has a good day.

Hello again, now we're all settled.
This morning I'll be doing my minimum jobs then getting reading to go out, driving to York, meeting a mate in the pub then going to watch Echo & the Bunnymen *yay*.

Alec Enjoy Echo & the Bunnymen and your time in York. You've earned it after yesterday just reading your list of what you'd done made me tired!
Dolly A virtual kick up the bum for you - need one myself a lot of days
Just having a wee tea break from glossing the doors - I'm so hot already that I've opened the front door. The doggies are in the back garden & kitchen for now as they keep brushing past the paint bless them!

Echo and the bunnymen I remember them.
I am off to voluntary work this morning. Its harvest festival we have a service and then a food bring and buy. Then i will be going into town from there to do some errands and get some shopping, then home and probably sit in the garden it looks nice again.
When oh finishes work we are taking a walk into town to the bank. I notice they are open till 7pm now and it suits oh cos he is at work all day and there is something he wants to do there.
We will probably watch the Shirley Bassey programme at 9pm.

Re: Thursday 29 September
It really is like summer today. I was putting the laundry outside earlier, the sky was cloudless and bright blue, the gulls were circling overhead and there was just that quiet calm. The only difference was that it was 9am but it felt like 7am on a summer morning. Soooooo gorgeous. And here's me going inland to visit somewhere with nothing to offer but two stinky rivers!

Re: Thursday 29 September
hello all, hope you have a good day yep the weather is fab. here in suffolk!
today, I will do some gardening, not too much just tidying up. Got apples to freeze, loads of them, a curry to make in the SC and ironing to do. A cycle into the town to post the last ebay parcel, pick up my bargain material for covering an old chair which I got from a CH and couldnt carry home as its too heavy and get a few bits from Mr Ts.
Easy day today......

Hmmm, that's annoying. Luckily once I like the look of something I don't ever change my mind! Although I am in danger of having rather too much Festival of Britain stuff this year!

Re: Thursday 29 September
Today I will be doing a bit more revision (exam is creeping up fast!!!) and maybe a bit of a potter in the garden once OH gets back from work, I got quite a bit of tidying done yesterday and chopped back a load of thing that were getting out of hand which I always enjoy! I'm going to make a root veg tagine for tomorrow night's dinner and need to think of something meaty for tonights dinner with either sausages or pork. Never did get round to mopping last night so wil have to do that tonight once DD has gone to bed. Might let the small monster do some painting - she'd paint all day everyday if I let her but she needs to do the physical stuff as well to help strengthen her joints.
