dinner thursday?!

here it's chilli, tortilla chips and cheese. hubby and child are off to karate in 1/2 an hour! woohooooo!

Thursdays tea. Ham salad, cheese, jacket potatoe.

Am currently chuffing cottage pie made from brisket that I minced (twas tough as old boots despite cooking SC) with broccoli and lots and lots of brown sauce bless my tum.

I'm trying to use up before buying in, so tonight was a night of having left overs, which was cold meat, with some baked beans and some frozen chips that were hanging around the freezer :-) Dessert was home made little fairy cakes or yoghurt (not home made though :-( Used to make it myself, but not enough of the family had it, and I was having to throw it away :-( So now I pick up Mr S's cheapies )

Last of the cold roast ham from Sunday with chips, onion rings, baked beans, coleslaw, salad and corn on the cob. Gosh we sound like right piggies there but most of it was using up leftovers, only the coleslaw was fresh made today and that will go in pack up and go with mine and DD's lunches for next couple of days.

Yeah, one of my faves! Used to make it by the bucket load (literally, for big buffets I had buckets for the salad so I could keep the bowlson the table topped up - obviously they'd never been used for owt else!) Even seeing it in those quantities couldn't make me get fed up of it!

We had roast veg orzotto with v-pud.
