Do you have one or do you do them yourself?

I was just thinking about how much I would love a window cleaner.

I've never seen one about the place, but everyone else seems to not have sand covered windows like we do so there must be one ! I'd happily clean them myself but I just can't reach, even on our longest ladder. I'll just have to rescue what's left of the yellow pages from the jaws of the rabbits and see what I can find.

I had one but he came every fortnight. I didn't feel they needed to be done fortnightly and could do without the extra costs. i do them myself now albeit not as often as i should..... and the upstairs outside is done shodily by a long extending pole. It's streaky to say the least Embarassed

We have one, he comes every 4 weks but as we live up a little lane with 8 houses on that goes nowhere, so no traffic coming past to mucky the windows, I told him he could make it every 8 weeks or not bother! TBH he's not actually very good but I'm hopeless with ladders (and I wouldn't trust oh not to fall off!) so he's better than nowt.

We have window cleaners. I'm not sure how often they come, but they still do things the 'old fashioned' way - ie one of them actually goes up a ladder and cleans the upstairs windows properly!!!

They only do the front of the house, because the garden gate is locked so they can't get in there. I keep meaning to ask them how much it will cost for them to do the back as well, but they always seem to come when I am out. But now that I am at home more (only work occasionally on a temp basis now) hopefully I will manage to get the back done too.

3 times a year sounds good to me.

ive lived here 18 months and only done them about 3 times now.

last house we lived in 5 years and probably only cleaned the windows once a year lol.

hubby to tight to pay a window cleaner and said he would do them but never did.
