Thought I'd posted but obviously not. I'm in a village just north of Milngavie, NW of Glasgow. Gorgeous hills and only 1/2hr to city centre. Ideal but a bit isolated.

Perhaps didn't make it clear we went to Norfolk rather than Suffolk, near Wymondham to be precise

thats so near to me. im in norfolk but also extremely close to suffolk. wymondam is literally a stones throw from here.

Just read this thread again, I lived in a lot of places too. Till 5 all over, school years Cleveleys, then Hull, then Germany, Bath, Harrogate, London, Birmingham before Cheshire where I am now.

where?! I'm in Basildon but spend at least on day a week in Colchester where my mum is.
I'm here in concrete paradise because I fell in love and we ended up here!
I was born in nottingham, moved to colchetser, uni in chelmsford, moved to wickford with boyfriend and his dad, moved to basildon when i got a job here and boyfriend/hubby came too. now he works in west london but we're still here 'cos 1. where he works is a poohole 2. sophie is settled, was born here and we're near family and 3. I finally have a social circle outside my laptop... NOT that this detracts in any way from the social circle INSIDE my laptop lol.

Witham, so pretty much half way between Chelmsford & Colchester. I've lived in the same town since I was 11, which is a long time as you can see by the fact that in order to put a birthday on the profile we have to put the YEAR as well....
I like the fact that, living here, I can just walk a couple of minutes up the road & be in countryside.

Most of my family are local too, which is nice, although our DD & her husband & 2 girls live in Portsmouth - would love it if they were nearer!

Does anyone live near each other? Who lives closest to you?

I am originally from Manchester but have been coming to the Fylde Coast since I was little as I had family up here and always loved it.
Now we have been living here fully for about 8 years. I did have over a year of living in Nottingham though about 4 years ago.

Am guessing parsniphead is closest even if she us 10 miles north of Brum whereas I am 8 miles south
