Its Tuesday what are you doing?

Morning all,

I am off into town shortly after washing up. I need a swimming cozzie we are going away in October. I must get one quick all the shops seem to have none or not much left from the end of August. I think they have a few in Debenhams which look nice so will try to get that sorted. Weather grey not much sunshine but no rain either.

For me:

tidy dining room
tidy kitchen
put shopping away when it arrives
a quick fly round upstairs tidying (not children's rooms-cannot face that today!)
make a raisin loaf (freeze half)
sort out BT direct debit
Find pattern for crochet star pattern and sort out red/green/cream yarn for advent calendar
crochet with a coffee
------then the evening routine

Good morning,

So far I've aired and made the bed, done 2 loads of laundry - nice and windy so they're drying outside, done the washing up, put it away and tidied the kitchen, wiped the bathroom sink, dealt with the furries, tea is out of the freezer, shopping lists are written.

Now I'm having a nice cuppa, a sit down and a putter online then I'll do some work on the wallhanging and listen to the radio. Don't think we're out anywhere tonight so a nice cosy one, we have a programme about Frank Lloyd Wright on the planner so we might watch that.

Today I have managed to:-
get out of bed
have a shower
got dressed
decluttered several coffees,
taken son for an interview
logged into here, mse and fb
and thats about it!!

Today I WILL:-
tidy lounge
blitz kitchen
finish off painting hall/stairs/landing

I have had a general tidy up
emptied DW and put it on again
washed down woodwork and doors upstairs woodwork on the stairs and dedog fluffed the carpet
going to hoover ds hall wash woodwork and doors and wash the floor
then finish my paperwork clearing out and get my haircut
then collapse in a heap!

Bought new diary - bought a mid-year one by accident last year and its been a nightmare the past few weeks. Luckily found a year and a half one today so that will get me back to a December changeover. Must enter everything into it this afternoon.

Filing all the paperwork I have generated.

hi everyone

today is my hubbies birthday 47 today. we are due to go out to the fun fair and have tea out taking out almost 12 year old daughter with us. should be fun.

the builders have arrive at 8am to start out conservatory - what a huge mess already - what was i thinking.

i have stewed up a huge pot of apples picked on sunday at sister in laws. i will freeze them later.

apart from that i may do a bit of ironing or just continue with my teacosy xx

Today I have met up with an old friend and had a coffee and chat :-) This afternoon, I have a friend from church coming round for a cuppa and a chat, so it's been a friends get together day today :-) Later I hope to finish a birthday (very belated) present for a family friend. I've bought a plain coffee mug for £1 and I'm going to put some Earl Grey tea bags in it, and some sachets of hot choc, and I've knitted a mug cosy to go around the mug. Just need to sew some buttons on it, then it's done :-)

I've enjoyed a lazy morning - had a busy day with family yesterday and needed a few hours to myself without doing anything in particular. Have just made/eaten lunch, am now having a quick browse here on the forum and then need to make a start on a couple of commissioned cards.

theres always tomorrow

Had a lovely day with my mum today, went to Asda baby event and stocked up on nappies so got about 2 months worth for ds and about the same of pull ups for dd's one night time one. Then had a lovely lunch out - cheese and onion pie and salads, contemplated having the veg with it but that would have been like admitting summer is over! Was so cold though we stopped off at matalan so my mum could buy tights but they turned into expensive tights as she treated each of the kids to a new outfit and a new t shirt each for me and her!

The grocery delivery came when we got back so I made spag bol for tea and also made rhubarb and ginger muffins, vanilla ice cream and set a yoghurt yogging which should be ready in time to go in oh's pack up.

Now sat feeding ds and watching old cookery programmes on good food with oh snoring gently away next to me but he does get up for work at 5 so has an excuse! Also got a nice glass of pinot grigio (ds on bottles now ) - it's been a long day!

Well, been too busy to do this till now. Been sewing most of the day, helping my boss (young designer) with stuff for London Fashion week. Done a job for someone to collect tomorrow.

Also a couple of things delegated..kids sorted the guest room and fam bathroom after visitors this weekend. DD got tea ready and DS cleared up afterwards. Ha! Must think of some more things for them to do tomorrow...won't be difficult...well, the difficult bit is thinking of jobs they don't mind doing. I figure, I'm working, hub is working, they aren't ...

DH going away on an overnight trip tomorrow.
