Own brand meal replacement powder (yuk)
Superdrug own brand powder is the vilest thing i have ever drunk i think. I bought it in error and finding it awful to drink. The taste is foul wonder whats it made of. Slimfast is the best and what I am used to. I dread drinking it and cant wait till its gone. Any tips for managing the rest. Think if I tell superdrug how horrible it is they will send me a refund.

how about holding your nose?! i bought tins of slimfast when on offer and DH wanted to try the chocolate stuff. he didnt like it, and its rotten but i dont want to throw it out so im keeping it until last. i did try mixing one scoop vanilla with it and it made it a bit better. i love the banana stuff! i keep promosiing myself i will start back on it 'tomorrow' but it never happens, and to be honest its starting to get me down!

Hope you do hear back from them. They have a customer feedback form on their website so they should get back to you. Let us know what they say.

Nothing ventured nothing gained! I guess you could always print out a copy of the email and take it with you when you return the stuff. Let us know how you get on

Re: Own brand meal replacement powder (yuk)
I've tried this one, the only dairy free one available, I am severely lactose intollerant and all of the others contain either lactose as a flavouring, milk as a constituent or whey powder for bulk. I can't have any of those....
it's not too bad on taste but i did find after two days i was irritable and craving protein even though i had been having my sensible dinners. I ended up doing a healthy "grill up" for diner on day 3, but as i handed jim his plate he said "protein much?" I'd done grilled bacon, grilled sausage, poached egg, grilled mushrooms and baked beans without really thinking lol.

I noticed the powder is cheap at the moment is this because they want to sell it to New Year dieters?

I assume so.
I myself am enjoying my last, guilt free, bowl of white pasta before I start slimming world tomorrow! and by the comments from my wii fit this morning (not been on in 2 months) I need it.... also the fact that I am now officially heavier than my husband.
