Pretty tidy apart from some hay strewn on the living room floor!

I'm with you there, so much so that I wouldn't answer the door.
TP, you missed out, have a nervous breakdown.

its pretty clean but quite untidy as we are in the middle of having a conservatory built plus not had a chance to put stuff away so a bit messy x

Bit of 1 and 3, it's mostly clean and tidyish but apart fom that you'll have to take me as you find me - there is fresh baked cake in the cake tin though! (need a little winking smiley really!)

Now I'd like to have the guts of number 3 but can't quite not care about people seeing my house as a tip.
However it's clean but feels the daily effects of small children and endless number of toys

generally ok so number 3 is for me. someone told me years ago, if your floors are clean then the rest doesnt really matter. Is that right? I always cringe if someone comes round and my kitchen floors a bit, well, lets say in need of a quick mop! ::f

I always think the house looks better if the floors are clean, and in my case, that means free of hay.

if you came round right now, I'd excitedly show you the curtains I made today, my tidy wardrobe and drawers, sparkling clean bathroom and ask you to kindly ignore my livingroom and the dining area of my kitchen diner.

Well done you,
I sorted some of the kitchen today, 3 cupboards & 2 drawers. Maybe the thought of people turning unexpectedly has spurred us on somewhat.
I'm going to do some more in a minute, I'd like the kitchen more or less done today. (I'm very slow though & had to go to bed for a while.)
