Re: Woop woop its the weekend....
Im off this weekend so I have got a list as long as my arm!!
Tidy the garden
mow the lawn
take rubbish to the tip
blitz the kitchen
blitz the lounge
blitz bathroom
blitz downstairs loo
clean out the car
put car through drive through car wash (free! perks of working in a petrol station!)
Iron kids uniforms ready for Tuesday
finish painting the hall
Sand down radiator cover
paint radiator cover
attach radiator cover to the wall
Think thats enough to be getting on with.

Re: Woop woop its the weekend....
We're about to have a small trip into the town (our 6 mile walk to south shore turned into an 11 1/2 mile walk to the Tower and back last night so not too much wandering today!). Might get coffee and a magazine or something. Other than that just relaxing today and not doing too much. Tomorrow we're going to watch rugby, Widnes v Featherstone and maybe have a pint with my brother.
That's about it, nice and quiet which is just how I like it as it was sooooo busy last night it'll be good to have some peace and quiet! Have a good time everyone.

Moving out some unused furniture in DS's bedroom and entertaining the kids. Livin' the rock and roll lifestyle here

I have to confess I do like shifting furniture about and stuff like that!
Just back from the town and I counted no fewer than 20 shopping trollies. Home just before the rain started and I've got Coast and Martha Stewart Living magazines to putter through this afternoon

Still not feeling 100%, recovering from a cold still coughing and spluttering and exhausted, so lazy day for me again Hubby's taking us all out for dinner tonight to celebrate me leaving my job, so no dishes and kitchen will stay tidy. Just not exactly what I had planned for my first few days as a homemaker, oh well at least there is no rush to get everything done, no work to worry about on Monday!

Bit late! I did some sewing for my designer bloke, worked well. Then I spent some time doing some sorting out and clearing. I needed buttons for MY project, so did a bit of clearing and putting away of sewing stuff at the same time. After lunch looked at my new sewing book and this evening we were taken out for a meal by our best man, to celebrate our silver wedding, which was a couple of weeks ago. Nice day!

Got back from southshire safe and sound. BIL seems to recovering well and OH is now feeling much better having seen him in person to check. Blinking long way to go for a BBQ though! Glad we went really as it's set our minds at rest and feel better now that we'll see them again in October for DS's christening.
It's the first tme we've gone further than 50 miles in the car since we bought it last November so was good to know that it was lovely to drive a longer distance and fairly fuel efficient did almost 500 miles on half a tank so we'll feel less guilty going further afield in it again. DD had a wonderful time here with her grandparents but was gratifyingly pleased to see us home greeting us with big sloppy kisses.
Weather permiting weill have a nice day out tomorrow if not we'll just have to stay in and pay grandads silly tickling game as it's now DD's new favourite!
Hope you all well and have a lovely weekend. X
