Enjoy your weekend away!
I am "tired and emotional" after the gig last night so have no idea what's going to happen today... Have fun everyone.

Apparently I've promised to cook a roast well being bullied into it by Dd her last meal before going back to uni.
It will have to be chicken, thinking of being naughty and stuffing a marrow to go with it. I don't think the kids have ever had marrow, I know Dd will try it but think it might scare Ds(bit fussy with veg and other food in general) But if they want stuffing
Might do pigs in blankets with normal sauage and only allow with marrow

Re: Yippee its friday!
Just had a little boost - I bought some crisps the other week and they were horrible, I have never left crisps before but these were inedible, so DH sent them back to the company with a letter of complaint, today we received a box of crisps! Which I guess is only good if they're nicer than the ones we sent back. It pays to complain.
We did the same years ago with a bag of Haribo Maoam, they were assorted flavours but our bag was mainly one flavour and none of my favourite flavour at all. So we emailed them to complain and they sent us a massive Haribo hamper.
Has anyone else had a good outcome after a bad customer experience?

Re: Yippee its friday!
We had a 72pt barrel for our silver wedding/ds's 18th party in August. It was below par, so we rang to let the local company know. It was Saturday morning, so noone in the office. Nothing to be done, so we 'made do'. I got an extremely apologetic call on Monday morning to say that there would be a full refund. £65! We took the rest back that didn't get drunk so they would know what was what.

I had a great response in Baxters in Fochabers (where the factory is)
we bought quite a few things and opened one jar to find it had mold all over it so took it back got a double refund, a replacement and £10 in vouchers yippee
Tesco were awfu,l I had a jar of coffee made a cup and when i got to the bottom it was kind of gritty, but it wasnt grit it was broken glass I took it back to the shop to show them i hadnt broken the jar or anything and they just went ok and that was it ...I was fizzing ...thats just one of the reasons i dont like tesco but dont have much choice about where i shop unfortunately
