Morning!
It is chucking it down this morning so I am enjoying my cup of tea with the blinds wide open watching the rain. It was gorgeous yesterday I can't believe the difference, got a bit of a tan watching the rugby.
I didn't get off to the best start this morning. Dan always washes up in the evening but for some reason last night he didn't so I got up to loads of washing up. To be fair to him he did offer to do it before work. So this morning I have aired and made the bed, tidied the bedroom, done the washing up, put some laundry away, dusted the lounge, dealt with bunnies and cleared the coffee table.
Today I'm going to clean the main bedroom and the bathroom, do some sewing, cycle 10 miles, do some cooking and iron Dan's shirts. If anything else presents itself I'll do that too.
Have a good day one and all.

Re: Monday September 5th
So far today I have emptied and refilled DW, have a load of washing on and another sitting , filled in our electoral register form online and phoned my kids school to make an appointment and am now trying to rescue my hm laundry powder by turning it into a kind of laundry gloop. I think the soap i used to make it was too soft and its all stuck together in a clump
I plan to hoover down stairs and dust, maybe wash the floors
organise my meal plan as it has gone completely out the window already this month
and (trying to be superhomesparkler today!) wash the inside of the windows down stairs

Re: Monday September 5th
Home schooling starts back today. I've just made a victoria sponge cake, a belated birthday cake for hubbie. His birthday was on Saturday, but we were at a wedding, so I didn't get to do one and yesterday we were out most of the day. My schooler is now sat doing her set subjects for the day, giving me chance to do my computer bits and pieces :-)
This afternoon, a friend is popping in with her knitting, because she's got stuck, and needs some help, then I'm off to the shops, with my trolley :-) to do some shopping, back home to get dinner, which is sausage and tomato pasta. A recipe taken from the netmums site.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning,
Today I'm also doing housework - dusting and vaccing the bedrooms, stairs and living room. Cleaning the bathroom and sweeping and mopping the kitchen and bathroom floors. WM already been on will be hanging it inside as it's pouring down today here Tea tonight is meatballs with pasta sauce and spaghetti. Bought sweedish meatballs from Asda with homemade sauce
My boys are back in school/college tomorrow so the house is very quiet as I'm letting them have a last lie in today Uniform for DS2 is hung up in his wardrobe ready to go he was packing his new bag yesterday afternoon. Think he's secretly looking forward to getting back and seeing his friends.
Have good days everyone.

morning all
last day of holiday for me. tomorrow im back to the dreaded work.
so today i shall fill with things i love doing.
creating a lovely meal for my family, ironing their clothes, finishing a teacosy i am making and walking my beloved boy.
we have already had one lovely walk over the fields and will go out again later when its cooler.
its already baking hot again here. is this the summer we should have been having the last couple of months i wonder.
i have just made a list of all the things i am planning to craft in the next couple of months - cant wait to get started.
the builders are cracking on with the conservatory outside should have some sort of recognisable shape going on later today - very exciting.
anyway have a lovely day everyone. xx

Re: Monday September 5th
Last day before back to school for my eldest tomorrow. He doesn't want to go so am expecting a few meltdowns (he has ASD). Am really gonna miss him DD starts afternoon nursery in a few weeks and then I have 5 afternoons free a week. Cue lots of jobs being tackled that never normally get done <gulp>
So I have promised DS a baking day today, weather is bit hit and miss so think a day at home is in order. DS LOVES baking and he needs stuff for his lunchbox.
If I can squeeze in dusting the lounge and putting vac round that would be great too. OK have spend too much time online already (too many forums, blogs, subcribed threads )

Re: Monday September 5th
Got a few housey type things to do today but mainly will be writing an essay! :affraid: My final assignment is due in on Thursday and only started it last night so got quite a way to go before I'm happy with it. DS in his usual clingy mood so suspect most of it will be done one handed! Then tonight is our community group committee meeting but at least we're sensible and hold our meetings in the pub! (where's the beer swilling smiley from mse when you need it?)

Re: Monday September 5th
The morning seems to have passed very quickly. choir member her with her dd, needed suit trousers altering. She had a suit made in Vietnam as well, which arrived back very creased. Said she was going to take it to the cleaners for pressing, but I did it with my handheld steamer for her. So have started the alteration. Just in on the waist a bit and shortening. Feeling spectacularly unmotivated really. Shame as there is lots to do this week.
Before anything the DW and WM need emptying. Getting a heavy shower every 10 minutes here, so not outside unfortunately.
Need to find a couple of recipes, want some veggie curry dishes for tea, to supplement some leftovers from yesterday. Will get dd to make.

Re: Monday September 5th
Just posted details on bargain thread, but tweaked my Tesco delivery and got some fab bargains on salami and wine combo and buy 1 get 2 free scampi which is one of my fave things but I won't buy it full price as it is so expensive. So dead impressed with myself. Shopping came to just over £70 this week with £35 in savings, Approved foods order coming tomorrow too so have that lovely full cupborad thing to look forward to! I do like to have lots of food in, it makes me feel all sorted and on top of things!.

Well, bridal shop phoned, so now have a dress to fix by tomorrow night and another, not sure when that one is for. No point in me sitting around feeling unmotivated, is there?

Re: Monday September 5th
Hi, I have not been on for a few days and will be away to the end of the week.
On friday afternoon our door bell rang and when I answered it I nearly had a heart attack.
It was my son from Australia, OH was in on it. I havent seen him for 4 years
He just said HI though I come and visit for a while, can I come in.
So there where a few tears.
So I shall be back next week, just noticed the christmas thread cant wait to have a look.
Hope everyone is keeping well
