An easy way to declutter.....

Hired a skip and just tossed the lot! No recycling, no giving to charity, no saving it for later, no selling it on ebay. The lot just went into a skip and got taken away. Was well worth the money!!!

I thought that I was going to be good by aiming to get rid of at least a black bag full of stuff a week.

I moved on average every 2 years so was easy just to throw the lot especially as we usually only got a months notice that we would be moving. I is surprising how much carp you collect in 2 years, I dread to think how much id of had if I stayed anywhere long term!

Ive been in my present home just short of 3 years (longest time anywhere apart from when I lived with mum and dad) and I feel the need to declutter, I also get itchy feet but I am determined im not moving (cant afford to anyway and I rather like it where I am) Think I was a gypsy in a past life!

I agree with you, it can be hard enough to get to the point of decluttering without adding the extra layer of stress that is finding the perfect place for everything to go to. Sometimes when something has to go it just has to go!
