Hello,
We’re pleased to announce that on the 3rd and 4th September 2011, private sellers who list up to 100 item(s) at a starting price of £1.00 or more in an eligible category using the auction format on eBay.co.uk, will not pay an insertion fee*.
Items will only be eligible for this promotion if they are listed with the Quick sell or Advanced sell (Sell Your Item) forms, or the eBay iPhone, iPad or Android applications. Items listed using professional tools, such as (but not limited to), Turbo Lister and Sales Manager Pro, are excluded.
Please note that all other selling fees will still apply.
Only sellers whose accounts meet eBay’s minimum seller performance standards are eligible. Sellers should confirm eligibility by checking their account status on My eBay.
For inspiration on what to sell check out our eBay House.
I'm off to ebay this weekend, only 100 free listings this weeked allowed this time around.

Re: Does Anyone ebay?
I haven't got time to sit and list 100 items I find ebay a total PITA and am sick of my excellent quality stuff going for 99p. Can you tell I've fallen out with it
Re: Does Anyone ebay?
That's where the free listing weekends are good, you can start at the lowest price you're happy with & not pay to list.
I try & sort out lots of things that I can't let go for 99p & list on these weekends.
I will regain control of my house somehow.

Thanks for the warning I've managed for this long so I'm sure I'll be grand without it! I'm not a recreational shopper really so I don't feel I'm missing out on anything.

That's when I list stuff that I want more than 99p for. AT them moment I have bids on a few items, just under £70 & sold something for £15 last weekend that someone wanted a BIN for. Hopefully I may get up to £100, so not bad for a few hours listing.
Around £80 after fees, so not bad at all.

Re: Does Anyone ebay?
I've been selling on ebay for just over a year now my handcrafted items and some craftie supplies.
I also buy 2 car's every year on ebay, either strip them for parts or restore them for re sale. But I only buy certian cars for a specialist market.

I have just had 6 items sell on ebay, for a total of £70.
It was all things that had been sat around doing nothing: DVDs, model kits etc. so I am really pleased that they sold so well.

Re: Does Anyone ebay?
Well one of my buyers has been a pain already sending me a message withing 5 minutes of the auction end asking very rudely, when item would arrive, then a second message first thing this morning asking again (in caps ) "PLEASE CAN U ADVISE WHEN I WILL RECEIVE THE ITEM".
Anyway, it hasn't put me off and I am going to put some more items on later.

Does it not say in your ebay listing about your posting regime ie 3 days after payment received?
If it does just reply please refer to the listing, and also make it plain that sending message's in caps is both rude and bullying.
Had they paid the invoice when they sent you the rude message?

Yes they have paid, and it says quite clearly in the listing when I despatch item after payment and also how its sent (whether first or second class) So I don't know what else I could have told him really!
I sent a VERY polite email back starting with "Dear Mr ****" finishing with "Kind Regards, Mrs ****" to show him how you communicate properly.
By looking at his previous feedback from sellers he sounds like a bit of a muppet to say the least!

Re: Does Anyone ebay?
Nice one
I really think some poeple need to have lessons in how to compose an email sometimes.
I really can't see why he had to email you in the first place as all the required information is contian within the listing. Some people clearly don't read what's in front of thier own eyes.
