Wednesday 28 September - What are we up to today?

Good morning

I am carrying on with the decorating with DH this morning then a massive shop at Asda/local market this afternoon. The living room woodwork and ceiling are now all done and it's just the walls to do. I have my shopping list ready and only had to adjust it to add butternut squash for Alec Eiffel's stew

What is everyone else doing today?

I've been for a walk with the girls and their dogs already this morning. After breakfast I've set myself the task of getting a coat alteration done my lunchtime and a dress alteration this afternoon. There will be plenty more altering to do later, as ds got a load of new stuff yesterday and almost every item will need sorting out. He has 3 trousers to shorten, three t-shirts for a start, not sure what else. THen Uni packing to sort.

Been away for a long weekend so need to go and look in the garden and see what needs picking (veg)
Also have toms to use that have been ripening in kitchen, looks like it could be pizza tonight with the toms
In my head have a list of jobs to be done by the end of October so will try and get a few off them done.

I'm going to spend some time getting to grips with google+. I joined yonks ago and have never done anything with it. But Dan has left facebook for work reasons and is using that instead so I'm going to see what's what and maybe use that more. So that's a good way to kill several hours I think!

Also need to have a run round the house and get loads of stuff done. We're going to York tomorrow (yes, after everything I said last week) to a gig so we're going to be out for lots of tomorrow and Friday will be a write off so I want everything to be done for the weekend. Plus it's the good weather day today so I'm going to get the laundry basket emptied for the first time in ages.

Having a quiet day today as had a busy week so far, DD had her group on Monday and then my Mum came down for the day yesterday so today will just be about a bit of playing and maybe a bit of finger painting this afternoon. Really must get some housework done in betweentimes too may have a quick run around while DD is watching Mr Tumble after lunch and have a good mop through downstairs after the kids have gone to bed (pointless doing that beforehand as DD will just get soggy crawling round on a damp floor).

I dispair of my husband. damned fool hurt his back at karate last night and now has just informed me he's heading over to his dad's house to do car things. whch means fool who is on painkillers for pack pain will be crawling round under a fricking car. if he complains about pain tonight so help me....

The bathroom tiles are done yippee!
bathroom has been cleaned as well and is now all sparkly but i smell like a swimming pool and would really love a shower but dont want to mess up my lovely room now
I took some throws out the cupboard yesterday and am getting them washed and out as its nice here today
apart from that just general tidying up

Hubby is nightshift this week so I'm mostly being quiet! Quick tidy in the kitchen and living room, going to make meatballs and sauce for tonights dinner, then attempting to arrange travel insurance for our holiday to Florida next year This afternoon going to take the dog a long walk to enjoy the sunshine while it lasts and to try and tire her out as she is full of energy today

Got loads of stuff done today. Tidied my wardrobe (one of my problem areas), emptied the laundry basket and even did the hand washing, cleaned the sofa cushions and hoovered the main bit of the sofa - whatever that's called. Unsurprisingly my side was messy and Dan's was clean! Loads of other puttery things, cleaned out the bunny pen and generally did that stuff called cleaning.

Off to clean the windows that are in the shade in a mo but I haven't done anything all day.

I called off at my friends over the road for a natter. Popped back before Nursery and then been there all afternoon while the little ones played. A one off, and good for the soul
