Facebook changing to timeline what do you think?
Seems everyone is going to have to have the timeline from later on this month whether you want it or not. I hate it and the page keeps refreshing. I find the old layout easier to follow what do you think?

Re: Facebook changing to timeline what do you think?
I don't use facebook and this is one of the reasons I never will.
Most of the other site's that have adopted the timeline have seen far less traffic since they jumped on the band wagon.
I know a lot of people don't like the timeline and there are lots of blogs and discussions all over the internet about why they don't want it.
I think for a lot of people would like the option of being able to opt in or out of it.
Once you put something on to it it can not be removed which not everyone likes. I think it's the though you can't decide at a later date that you'd rather have not put up something and would now like to remove and you can't that is annoying some people.

I don't have a problem with the time line layout, it's OK, not brilliant but makes searching for previous posts easier. What I have found amtotal PITA are the glitches. Not getting notifications, posts and comments disappearing grrrr get it sorted FB

I dont like when they make changes to Facebook. Some of my friends have the new timeline and its hard to work out whats what. No doubt I will get used to it, I dont post a lot on it because there are some people who I dont want to know my every move or what I did with who and when.

Re: Facebook changing to timeline what do you think?
I am on facebook, but rarely use it tbh. Mine has changed to timeline now and I am getting used to it, although it is harder to follow and the pages look cluttered.
I can understand how some people would be annoyed at how easy it is to see old posts though. Drunken 3am arguments from 3 years ago or love notes to previous partners could be embarrassing and cause problems.
Fortunately for me, I have never done either of these so I don't need worry!
