The email alert options is there...
a easier way to not automatically be signed up to email alerts being sent to my email account every time I post?
Only I don't require email alerts as I only check my emails twice a day and I nip into the forum more often.
I've been looking for a User Control Panel function to see if I can remove the email alert option but I can't find the User Control Panel item. Sorry

For me at least at the top below where it says "forum for people who don't work outside the home..." in big letters it says home, dates, faQ, search, members, groups, profile, no new, logout. You can get to all that stuff there. If that's not showing on your page then something might have fallen over somewhere.
