starting the new year on an itchy foundation.
I've been ill for a week now and thought I was ok. just a normal cold. NOPE. thankyou mr out of hours locum GP.
it seems I don't have any damned immunity to chicken pox. well, I get a short term immunity and the once I am well again, my bloody stupid immunity system forgets WTF chicken pox is and therefore leaves me open. AGAIN.
10th time.
10th fecking time.
well... 9 chicken pox and 1 shingles when i was 14, but let's face it... 10th fecking time my body has been totally stumped by Varicella.
I fecking well itch, have a raging cold, ache all over and am pissed off.
that is all.
and I just got my husband to rub ]Vagisil into my back spots 'cos they're so itchy and we have no chamomile or calamine so this was about all I could take!

aparently not according to the gp, but I'm not sure whether or not to trust it. I've been avoiding pregnant women just in case.

hope the itching calms down. if not try bathing in bicarb, its supposed to help xxx failing that oven gloves taped on your hands to stop scratching
Re: starting the new year on an itchy foundation.
well I seem to be mostly scabby... still feeling pretty crappy, but it's now more standard cold than actual illness
I've just been knitting a lot. if I'm knitting, I'm not scratching!
