Am I the only one who will be going out on Christmas Eve just before closing time to the local Supermarket to get those reduced Turkeys, hams etc. to fill the freezer with for the new year?

My In-Laws will drive round to several supermarkets and stock up on reductions Laughing

The only supermarket I'll be going to is the one where my OH works to pick him up from work so we can go up to my parents in the lake. Got a busy day planned as will have to make the pudding to take up for Christmas day and pack the car up with all the usual junk plus all the presents.

Would have a slight hitch buying things for the freezer too as it's bursting at the seams! But sending good bargainous vibes to anyone who has time and freezer space!

I won't be going into any shops. I'm so bored of shopping they'd have to be paying me to take the stuff away! We have plenty of food in and I'm very much an "enough is as good as a feast" kind of girl these days.

Just to update:

In-laws drove to several supermarkets - but found nothing reduced at all.
I walked to the Tesco 5 minutes walk away and bought a Turkey Crown for £6.25! So that's in my freezer and our New Years lunch is sorted! Very Happy
