there's a bargain!
Maybe if any of us sees a good deal or a bargain, fab freebie or a brill coupon we could post? I know MSE is an extensive resource for this kind of thing but if we see anything particularly good and relevant for us it might just be handy. What do you think?

Radio times 12 issues for a pound. Dont forget to cancel the subscription. I actually did this and had no trouble. Even if not for you could be a cheap gift for a relative. Cheap read.

You need a printer & it's the first printed who gets a free bottle to collect.
If you don't have a printer you may give your details but not be able to get the freebie.

Re: there's a bargain!
Just done my tweaking on my Tesco order and spotted this.
There are some anti pasti type and snack stuff (salamis and little pork pies, sharing bread and the like) on buy 5 and a drink for £10 - thing is the wine in the offer is £10.99! so just ordered 2 lots. So £10.99 wine and 5 lots of salami's at £2.50 for £10 - that's a saving of £13.49!! Yay and salami keeps for ages in the fridge or will freeze so that's our pizza toppings sorted for about the next 10 weeks (and a couple of treaty bottles of wine - yum).
Can't figure out how to do linky thinks but if you search for Tesco continental platter 120g it should just pop up. It's on til 13th Sept and is usually the same in store but will get OH to check tomorrow.

Use Sainsbury's vouchers in Tesco's
I was in Tesco last week, checking in my purse for any vouchers and mentioned to the checkout operator that I only had Sainsbury's ones - he said let's see we take some. I had a eight pounds off a sixty pound spend. He scanned it and it worked! Even better/worse as I was handing it to him I noticed it was two weeks out of date. But it still worked, Sainsbury's would not have taken it! Feel a bit bad, but only a bit.

Re: there's a bargain!
Tesco's has the big 3kg bags of penne and fusilli for £2 this week and their value pasta is back down to 19p for the penne and 18p for the spaghetti. Don't know what the tesco delivery man is goin to think of me tomorrow as I have 8 kg pasta on the order! Thought I'd stock up while it's at its really low prices.
