Where you live at Christmas?
Whats on in your town?
This weekend we have the Victorian Fayre that is quite a large event. Lots of stalls and entertainment, food, etc. People dressed in Victorian Costume.

We live in a small town so I don't think anything really happens. The town and city either side of us have Christmas markets and things like that. We just have Christmas lights and all the usual stuff. We're going to the Christmas market in Manchester on Friday

We live in a surburb of a large city - Our local high street has some Christmas lights up and in the first week in december has a parade of the local community groups, classic cars, brass bands, local schools etc through the high st. With Santa giving out sweeties to all the children.
And Santa comes round all the residential roads on a carnival float to raise money for charity too - usually one night in the week before christmas.

Re: Where you live at Christmas?
the only thing in our village is a pub which has put up lights outside and looks lovely. apart from that the community centre around the corner has done nothing - very boring.
we chose to live in a very rural village so dont expect any exciting stuff x

Re: Where you live at Christmas?
It was so nice in the town today. In the square there's a small ice rink, there was a pipe organ thingamy and some blokes playing the accordion. So it was very festive and relaxed. Bought a few extra bits and bobs and generally had a lovely time. It was a pretty high tide too so we had a stroll along the prom prom prom then came home for hot chocolate.
