My favorite (not) thing is walking into a room standing there and going "emmm no idea why im here" or forgetting a word and having a conversation including the words wotsit, hoogamypiff and thingamybob!

I drove into town today with the music on really loudly singing my little heart out to Journey Dont stop believing
had a huge smile on my face...thankfully I was alone as my singing is enough to make peeps ears burst

Re: What made you smile today
second thing to make me smile: my friend made me a cuppa. not such a strange thing you might think, but I wasn't expecting it. I was walking home from dropping my little one off at school and H came out of her house, handed me a mug and said "you're coming in for a natter". she then did the same with the other two of our little group as they walked past lol. better still, she made my tea black and sweet cos she knew I'd not have any "awkward person milk" on me! <3

ok it's now wednesday, 9:26 am and what made me smile is finding out that we don't have to keep the landlord's ugly, broken and non-fire certificated shelving units because they're not on the inventory! we've hung on to these things for 4 flipping years, moving them round to try and shoe-horn them in around our own furniture and now finding out we don't need to keep them is a godsend!

What made me smile today is finding out my local art framers and gallery sells paintings by Timmy Mallett, the guy who used to be on kids tv in the 80's!

We were in the pub a few weeks ago and someone put Agadoo on the jukebox - everyone was surprisingly happy about it!

Re: What made you smile today
Trying to make amends and move away from the Timmy Mallett slightly.
What's been making me smile this week is the return of the birds to the garden. We have some resident blackbirds and I love them, they had two broods this year and I loved seeing them. We also had a family of starlings (I know not everyone likes them but I'm from an industrial town where we had thousands and I love seeing them) one day I watched for ages as the parent taught the chick to use the birdfeeders to get the suet.
Today there's a robin, lots of bluetits and greattits and some goldfinches as well as the usual sparrows, linnets etc. The only downside is that the collared dove is also here - my white bunny hates it and goes mad whenever it lands on the patio. I don't know why as she doesn't do it for any other birds

Aww bless, kids are fantastic aren't they? My little girl today gave her little bro a sloppy wet kiss on his head then held his bottle and brushed his hair backwards while he drank - he's looked like Tintin with a sticky up bit of hair ever since! She's all of 2 3/4 but she is such a little mum and loves her little guy so much, I thought the novelty would wear off after a while but nearly 7 months on she's even fonder of him than ever.

I never catch this sort of thing as it takes me 10 minutes of squinting at the phone or camera to figure out how to do moving pictures - I'm not right techno savvy!!
