Re: Best Charity Shop Bargains
a lot of my stuff is second hand, but if i had to choose some of my favorites....
le creuset pans x 3
our beautiful dining table which was a wedding gift to my husband's grandparents in the 1920s. it's square and compact but pulls out. we once sat 10 round it!
1960s swedish arm chairs, wooden, sprung seats with foam cushions. they're timeless and were given as a wedding gift to my father and mother in law in 1964.... I think the Oliver family liked giving furniture as wedding gifts. my family give rolling pins lol!!!
my collection of Spong brand kitchenalia (now has a coffee grinder up there too)

I for some reason don't find the CS finds but my meter does. She bought and gave me a pair of LK Bennet wedges in great condition. These sorts of shoes retail for over £100 so thats a wicked bargain in my book.

I was given an old bread maker via freecycle. I don't particularly like the bread it produces but it does a mighty fine cinnemon raisin loaf

I was given a kitchen years ago. People who gave it where getting a new one. Ex hub had to fit it but it was all free. Very handy as the house we had moved into didnt have a proper fitted kitchen in.

Re: Best Charity Shop Bargains
I went to the charity shop on tuesday and bought loads of books for me and DH and some more DVDs for DD.
But my best buy this week was a nearly new copy of "English food" by Jane Grigson for 75p.
It's been on my "wanted" list for ages, so I am really pleased that I found a copy.

I normally bemoan the lack of bargains to be had but I bought a fantastic leather handbag today (Tommy and Kate which according to the net is a QVC designer brand) for £6. I did buy it for myself but showed it my mum who started coveting it and voila early Mothers day gift
Fear not bought an Elvi faux crocodile red handbag for a fiver which was brand new so I didn't lose out completely
