It's monday, hows your week panning out?!

mine's looking ok. sophie has learned to ride her bike without stabilisers over the weekend and is now like a little two wheeled rocket. jim's stress levels are sill high, but will be until the letting agent finally sorts their messes out (long story, can't be bothered to write it out, link to basic problems here lol http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=3516495&highlight=).

thankfully tomorrow is karate night so jim will get two hours of being able to exercise until he aches and being legally able to kick the living poo out of someone hahahaha! don't worry, he's careful.

tonight's dinner ended up being a free for all, cook your own as neither of us could be bothered. this heat is insane!!!!

oh, and I opened a shop via facebook 'cos my etsy's not been doing well.

not a bad day at work today. tea was all prepared yesterday so nice and easy.

hubby was in a right mood when i got home so that was great - not.

Week shaping up to be as busy as the last. Doing a cake decorating course and it's a total PITA getting stuff ready for it. Once the 10 weeks are up I shan't be signing up again. It's costing money each week on top of the £8 for the class and to be honest I've not done anything my mum hasn't already done with me

So this week I have a harvest festival to attend, baking, make a princess figure out of icing for a friends little girls birthday cake, must attempt to catch up on my accounts, sort out some planning for half term holiday (ofsted requirement), rake up a million acorns from the garden. And that doesn't include the washing and housework

Sooooooo how much of this will I actually achieve thank goodness it's getting cooler

So far so good, I've got a number of phone calls that need to be made this week, I have a bad phobia about using the phone and end up sweating and stuttering, I have to build myself up to it. Usually I get DH to make most phone calls which probably doesn't help me but needed to phone tax credits to tell them I had stopped working so did that one today, tomorrow I'm calling my insurance company about surrendering a couple of policies I don't need any more.
Waiting to hear if I've got funding for my Open University course, hopefully should find out about that this week too.

I hate using the phone too! It's surprising how many people you meet who feel the same.

I don't feel confident on the phone either. I worry I will make a fool of myself for some reason I dunno why I worry as most of the time it's never as bad as I imagine. Mind you I get terribly nervous asking enquiries in person.......funny really as I can be a right gob by moo when the mood takes me

Go Me!!! Lol! Just phoned the insurance company and didn't babble and was actually quite confident on the phone, my hands are shaking now though!
I think the reason I hate using the phone so much stems back from something that happened to me when I was a teenager, I answered the phone and had a dirty phone call, not heavy breathing but dirty talking, and he freaked me right out!!

I am confident but its hard work. You wait ages to get thru and then you have to press different buttons, then you can get cut off. Gone are the days when you picked up the phone and got straight thru to a voice. all the time you are hanging on you are paying grrrrr sorry rant over.
