im in the middle of trying to get mines done and actually stick to it. can do it weekly but i struggle monthly!

chicken
chicken curry
sausages
roast beef
chops
stew
hm pizza
hot dogs
hm burgers
mince
spag bol
pasta
lasagne
baked spuds
soup and pudding
hm meat balls
fish
shepards pie
sausage casserole
cooked brekkie tea
macca cheese
takeaway
hm curry

i then use whatever veg i had with it, DH is a fuss pot and wont have spag bol, lasagne or anything with a tomato based sauce (unless i hide it well). This is generally what we have and will easily have the same thing a few times a month but i try to gives us as much variety as poss.

well i have to go to work all week and hubby is on nights all week so there is only a short window for preparation and eating of evening meal. i have also two extras gone in the freezer so already ahead for the week after too.

its amazing what you can do with next to no money and a little time xx

Sometimes i think the meals you come up with when you are skint and have little in are the best and tastiest

There's a wonderful simple spaghetti dish that is simply melted butter with finely chopped garlic and chunky breadcrumbs browned off in it and a handful of chopped parsley and a little grated parmesan to finish! It even works (just about) if you've run out of parmesan as long as the breadcrumbs are from good bread.
