my little honeybean won the research prize at school for her summer project on Ibiza.
she got a laminated certificate signed by the head and a bag of haribo. she's annoyed 'cos she didn't get a trophy like the juniors...never happy lol!
I am so proud of her.

I helped a little, obviously as she's 5 but I did a detailed account of what she did and what my contribution was and stuck it to the back so there could be no doubt that Sophie did most of the important work.

You're obviously doing something right Flibsey! Great handwriting too.

I had a proud mummy moment on Thursday night. DS played his trombone solo in the Bridgewater Hall for Annual Prizegiving thingy and played well. He also got the Musician of the Year cup, the Brass Cup, the Music prize (to be fair, he was the only one doing A Level music LOL!) and award for outstanding academic achievement i.e As or above for all subjects. A bit of a long dull evening, but had to be done! Nice mummy moments though.
