Re: dinner plans for tonight?
yummy sounding dinners pipling I'm coming to yours tomorrow!!!!
We had stirfried veg and chicken with a tomato, black pepper and thyme marinade and spicy cous cous (marinade and cous cous both approved food). Lovely quick, easy dinner as I'd had a friend and her little man come to visit for the afternoon and was late even thinking about what to do.

pipling wrote:Yes, as Alec said it is a blend of middle eastern spices. Each blend can be slightly different as different regions have their own recipes - this one had a slight curry flavour to it, and was brought back from a moroccan spice seller at a market in the middle of France!
I mix it with olive oil to make a paste to marinate meat in, or DH likes to add it to mayo in sandwiches
Tonight we had Panko coated chicken with salad
I see. We have a morroccan spice its just called moroccan but i hadnt heard of that.

Dan has a meeting until about 7.30 tonight so it's just me for tea. Think I'll just have some soup or something like that.

Last night - (Undyed) Smoked Haddock with mustard sauce and crushed new potatoes - A new recipe that worked really well.
Tonight - Roasted stuffed breast of lamb, with roast potatoes, vegetables (haven't decided on which ones yet!) and gravy

Re: dinner plans for tonight?
We ended up going to Ambleside yesterday so we just grabbed a cone of chips for tea. It was a gorgeous day and lovely to sit and eat outside.
eta, quick and simple for tea tonight as we won't be back from the rugby until around 7, think it's going to be the left over shepherdess pie.
